Our reputation speaks for itself:
“From the moment they slipped on their shoe-booties, until they left at the end of the day, I have not regretted using Legacy Plumbing Company. Evan and Taylor took special care and they worked fast and efficiently on our water heater replacement. They cleaned up all of their work areas and kept us updated as to what was completed and still needed to be done. I am thrilled with their professionalism, their work ethic, and they came to work at the time they said they would come. I would recommend them for any work that you need performed!”
“Mike is always so helpful! We always call Legacy when anything goes wrong. They are quick, efficient, and honest. We have three locations that are serviced by Legacy Plumbing only. Be sure to ask for Mike! He is very friendly and you can tell he has tons of experience. Mike came out last week to fix a small issue we were having, and he was nice enough to answer my question about the water in our master bathroom (bathtub). The water for some reason had been discolored, so we thought the faucet was rusting. He let me know the issue was to do with the hot water tank rusting - not the pipes. Turns out we were having the issue in both of our guest bedrooms also, but we hardly use those. We were able to get a hot water tank installed almost immediately. Now we have clean, RUST FREE water thanks to Mike and the team at Legacy Plumbing!!!”
“Legacy Plumbing is so much more than just a run of the mill plumbing company. They go the extra mile to satisfy their customers at a very reasonable price. My hot water tank had issues and they gave me tips over the phone on what to try to be sure it was out. They made sure I was up to code and left with everything clean. Very knowledgeable and extremely polite. They also give to their community with coats, clothing, food and whatever is needed. I don't think you could find anyone better.”
What if I don’t need a new tank?
Age and lack of hot water are not always indicators of needing replacement. You may just need
a repair. We want to provide you with an honest diagnosis and course of action for your water
heater that fits your budget and needs. We will NEVER sell you anything you do not need.
- Age. A gas water heater is expected to last 10-12 years, while an electric model tends to last 10-15 years. If your heater is getting close to its life expectancy, especially if located indoors, or an attic, it may be prudent to change it before it goes out or starts leaking.
- Water. Do you get tinted water when you open up the hot water tap? Rust colored hot water is an indication of a bad tank.
- Temperature. If your hot water is not as hot or if you run out of hot water under normal conditions, it may be time for a new water heater.
- Moisture. Moisture around the base may signal a slow leak.
- Cold Water. An ice cold shower first thing in the morning is a pretty good sign that something is wrong!
- Puddles. A flood in the area around the water heater is a sure sign that you need a new one.
The last two are obvious, but the truth is that most people wait until they DO jump into that icy shower at 6 am to decide that it’s time to consult with a plumber. If you are unsure of the condition of your water heater, contact Legacy Water Heaters for more information.
